Every piece from Pottery Gaia is designed and handcrafted by artist and founder, Corryn Chaimowitz, in collaboration with her clients to transform personal ideas and meaningful details into one-of-a-kind ceramic art. Work one-on-one to create pieces that capture the aesthetic and story of your celebration. Immortalize your wedding florals in ceramic, adorn pieces with natural pearls and gemstones, or carve the delicate lace pattern of a wedding gown into a vase that can be displayed and cherished in your home for years to come. Add a logo, initials, date, or custom lettering to make each piece unmistakably yours.

Your design journey begins with a one-on-one consultation to discuss your venue, color palette, overall aesthetic, and, most importantly, your love story. From materials and silhouettes to colors, textures, and adornments, every element can be customized to create a bespoke collection unlike any other. Beyond wedding décor, Pottery Gaia also creates custom collections for bridal party gifts and event favors. Design meaningful keepsakes that extend the memories of your celebration long after the last guest has gone home.

Design Process

Design Consultation

Meet with artist Corryn Chaimowitz one-on-one to discuss your design vision. This includes the color scheme, florals, and overall aesthetic of your event, as well as preferred forms, colors, glazes, and any personalized details you’d like to include to in your ceramic pieces. Providing photos of the venue, color scheme or any inspiration boards is highly encouraged!

Mock-ups & Samples

Following your consultation, you'll receive hand-drawn design sketches for review. Custom glaze and color samples will be mixed specifically for your commission for your approval before production begins, ensuring every detail is exactly as envisioned. Personalized lettering, names, initials, or dates may be added to the base of each piece at no additional cost. Logos can also be incorporated using a custom stamp that can be created for an additional fee. Your custom stamp will be included with your completed order as a keepsake.

Production

Once the colors and designs are approved, a 50% deposit will be required prior to production. You will be provided with an approximate shipment date once your designs have been finalized. The remaining balance will be due prior to shipping. All pieces will be shipped at once. Because every piece is made by hand, commissions require a minimum production time of four months, with larger or more complex projects requiring additional time.
